44-5-506 . Participating agencies. (1) Agencies eligible for participation in the section are: (a) municipal police departments; (b) sheriff's offices; and (c) sections of the department of justice engaged in criminal investigation. (2) A participant in the section must be an eligible agency that has been authorized by the attorney general to receive criminal intelligence information from the section under this part.
