39-71-2356 . Mutually agreeable lump-sum settlements. During the period beginning October 1, 1991, and ending September 30, 1992, a workers' compensation claimant and the state fund may, regardless of the lump-sum law in effect on the date of the injury, mutually agree to a lump-sum settlement of a claim. If a mutual agreement is not reached, the lump-sum law in effect on the date of the injury applies.
