37-19-704 . Cremation authorization required -- identification. (1) Except as otherwise provided in this chapter, a crematory may not cremate human remains until it has received a cremation authorization. (2) A crematory may not accept unidentified human remains. (3) Appropriate identification must be placed upon the exterior of the cremation container upon receipt of the human remains.
