32-2-940 . False statement to obtain loan. A person who makes a statement, knowing it to be false, for the purpose of obtaining for that person or for any other person, firm, corporation, or association a loan of money from a mutual association or for the purpose of gaining an extension of time for the payment of any debt due the mutual association shall be punished by a fine of not more than $1,000 or by imprisonment in the county jail for not more than 1 year, or both.
