25-31-601 . Who may act as attorney. (1) Parties in justice's court may appear and act in person or by attorney. (2) Any person, except the constable by whom the summons or jury process was served, may act as attorney for a party. (3) Except as provided in 35-8-301 , a member with a majority interest in a limited liability company as defined in 35-8-102 may act as attorney for the limited liability company.
