20-8-113 . Duties of superintendent of school for the deaf and blind. The superintendent of the Montana school for the deaf and blind shall: (1) administer the programs and functions of the school within the guidelines of statutes and under policies prescribed by the board of public education; (2) prepare and submit reports, summaries, and other information requested by the board; (3) establish and pursue professional and technical contacts that will contribute information and guidance toward effective and efficient operation of the school; (4) maintain effective liaison between the school, the superintendent of public instruction, local school districts, and other public and private agencies that have an interest in or influence upon the school; (5) pursue a program of information for parents, professionals, and the general public.
