20-25-211 . Montana technological university -- purpose -- fees for assays. (1) Montana technological university has for its purpose instruction and education in chemistry, metallurgy, mineralogy, geology, mining, milling, engineering, mathematics, mechanics and drawing, and the laws of the United States and Montana relating to mining. (2) A department designated as "the Montana state bureau of mines and geology", which is under the direction of the regents, is established at Montana technological university. (3) The chancellor of Montana technological university may charge and collect reasonable fees for any assays and analyses made by the college. (4) The chancellor shall keep an account of the fees and pay them monthly to the treasurer for deposit to the college fund.
