Missouri Code § 84.630

Police force — acceptance of gratuities prohibited — disposition of fines.

No officer of police or policeman shall be allowed to receive any money or gratuity or compensation for any service he may render without the consent of the said board, and all such moneys as any policeman or police officer may be so permitted to receive shall be paid over to the board, and, together with all the proceeds of all fines, forfeitures and unreclaimed property which may come into the possession of said board, or to be recovered by them under the provisions of sections 84.350 to 84.860 , or any other law or ordinance, shall be disposed of in accordance with rules adopted by the said board, subject to the provisions of laws of this state controlling and directing the dispensation of such funds.
