The director of the department of health and senior services shall develop a program to accredit training providers to train lead inspectors, risk assessors, lead abatement supervisors, lead abatement workers and project designers. The director shall promulgate rules and regulations including, but not limited to: (1) The power to grant, restrict, suspend, revoke, deny or renew accreditation; (2) The power to issue notices of violation, written notices and letters of warning; (3) Fees for any such accreditation; (4) The curriculum for training; (5) The development of standards for accreditation; and (6) Procedures for monitoring, training, record keeping and reporting requirements for training providers.
