Certificate, bond and oath to be recorded.

Every sheriff shall, before he enters upon the duties of his office, cause his certificate of election or appointment, with the oath of office endorsed thereon, and his official bond, with the approval endorsed thereon, to be recorded, at his own expense, in the office of the recorder of the county.
