1. Prior to performing remote online notarial acts, a person shall apply to be a commissioned notary for the state of Missouri. 2. A remote online notary shall register the capability to perform remote online notarial acts with the secretary before performing remote online notarial acts. 3. Upon recommissioning, a notary shall again register with the secretary before performing remote online notarizations. 4. A person may apply or reapply for a notary commission and register or reregister to perform remote online notarial acts at the same time.
