1. Each judge of the circuit court shall receive an annual salary of seventy-nine thousand one hundred sixty-four dollars plus any salary adjustment provided after August 28, 1990, pursuant to section 476.405 , all of which shall be paid by the state out of the state treasury. 2. No circuit judge shall practice law or do a law business nor shall he accept, during his term of office, any public appointment or employment for which he receives compensation for his services.
