Judge failing to retire on seventieth birthday, a waiver of salary and retirement benefits.

Except as provided in Subsection 24 of Section 27 of Article V of the Missouri Constitution, any judge who becomes eligible after August 13, 1988, for annual compensation, salary or retirement compensation pursuant to sections 476.450 to 476.595 , but fails to retire on or before his seventieth birthday shall automatically waive all such annual compensation, salary and retirement compensation.
