1. Sections 447.500 to 447.595 may be cited as the "Uniform Disposition of Unclaimed Property Act". 2. Sections 447.500 to 447.595 shall be so construed as to effectuate its general purpose to make uniform the law of those states which enact it, except when the words in sections 447.500 to 447.595 do not conform to the uniform laws enacted by other states.
