As used in sections 383.075 to 383.083 , the following terms mean: (1) "Director" , the director of the department of commerce and insurance; (2) "Legal malpractice insurance" , insurance coverage against a civil liability arising against the insured resulting from an act of omission by the insured or his employees acting in their professional capacity.
