As used in sections 37.700 to 37.730 , the following terms mean: (1) "Office" , the office of the child advocate for children's protection and services within the office of administration, which shall include the child advocate and staff; (2) "Recipient" , any child who is receiving child welfare services from the department of social services or its contractors, or services from the department of mental health.
