As used in chapter 362 and chapter 369 and this chapter, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise, the following terms mean: (1) "Foreign bank" , the meaning set forth in section 1(b) of the International Banking Act of 1978, 12 U.S.C. 310(b); (2) "Home state" : (a) In the case of a national bank, the state in which the main office of the bank is located; and (b) In the case of a state bank, the state by which the bank is chartered; (3) "Host state" , a state in which a bank establishes a branch other than the home state of the bank; (4) "Out-of-state bank" , any bank, including a foreign bank, the home state of which is a state other than Missouri.
