As used in this chapter the following words or phrases mean: (1) "Board" , the Missouri board of nursing home administrators; (2) "Long-term care facility" , any residential care facility, assisted living facility, intermediate care facility or skilled nursing facility, as defined in section 198.006 , or similar facility licensed by states other than Missouri; (3) "Nursing home" , any institution or facility defined as an assisted living facility, residential care facility, intermediate care facility, or skilled nursing facility for licensing purposes by section 198.006 , whether proprietary or nonprofit; (4) "Nursing home administrator" , a person who administers, manages, supervises, or is in general administrative charge of a nursing home, whether such individual has an ownership interest in the home, and whether his functions and duties are shared with one or more individuals.
