1. Each member of the board shall receive as compensation an amount set by the board not to exceed fifty dollars for each day devoted to the affairs of the board, and shall be entitled to reimbursement of the member's expenses necessarily incurred in the discharge of the member's official duties. 2. The board may employ such board personnel, as defined in subdivision (4) of subsection 11 of section 324.001 , as it deems necessary to carry out the provisions of this chapter. The compensation and expenses of such personnel and all expenses incurred by the board in carrying into execution the provisions of this chapter shall be paid out of the board of pharmacy fund upon a warrant on the state treasurer.
