As used in sections 335.200 to 335.203 , the following terms mean: (1) "Board" , the state board of nursing; (2) "Department" , the Missouri department of higher education and workforce development; (3) "Eligible institution of higher education" , a Missouri institution of higher education accredited by the higher learning commission of the north central association which offers a nursing education program or an approved virtual institution, as defined in section 173.1102 , that offers a nursing education program; (4) "Grant" , a grant awarded to an eligible institution of higher education under the guidelines set forth in sections 335.200 to 335.203 .
