The director of revenue shall thereupon issue license plates, a registration number and the words "Disabled Veteran". The advisory committee established in section 301.129 * shall determine the characteristic features of the license plate, except that such license plate shall be made with fully reflective material with a common color scheme and design, shall be clearly visible at night, and shall be aesthetically attractive, as prescribed by section 301.130 , and such plate shall include the international wheelchair accessibility symbol when the applicant is physically disabled as defined in section 301.142 , as such symbol is placed on license plates described in section 301.142 .
