The state treasurer shall keep a separate account of the funds and the number and amount of warrants received and from whom, and shall publish, in such manner as the governor may designate, quarterly statements showing the amount of state moneys, and where the same are kept or deposited. A copy of each such publication shall, as soon as made, be filed in the offices of the governor, commissioner of administration, auditor and attorney general, respectively.
