The state auditor may make, or cause to be made, audits of any public employee retirement or public employee health care system operating within the state, which shall include but not be limited to a public employee retirement or public employee health care system established under sections 70.600 to 70.755 and chapters 50 , 56 , 103 , 104 , and 169 .
