Associations may be incorporated under the provisions of this chapter, by three or more persons entering into written articles of agreement which shall set forth: (1) The name of the association, which shall include the name of the commodity which the members thereof are engaged in growing, producing or marketing; (2) The location of the principal office or place of business; (3) The names and post-office addresses of the persons agreed upon as directors for the first year, not less than three of whom shall be citizens and residents of this state; (4) The date and place of meeting of the incorporators for the purpose of adopting bylaws and the election of officers.
