There shall be a "State Oil and Gas Council" composed of the following members in accordance with the provisions of section 259.020 : (1) The state geologist; (2) One member from the department of economic development; (3) One member from the Missouri public service commission; (4) One member from the clean water commission; (5) One member from the Missouri University of Science and Technology petroleum engineering program; (6) One member from the Missouri Independent Oil and Gas Association; and (7) Two members from the public.
