1. No offender shall knowingly commit violence to an employee of the department or to another offender housed in a department correctional center. Violation of this subsection shall be a class B felony. 2. No offender shall knowingly damage any building or other property owned or operated by the department. Violation of this subsection shall be a class D felony.
