Status as child determined by then-existing law at time of alleged offense for juvenile court jurisdiction and incarceration purposes.

For purposes of this chapter, section 221.044 , and the original jurisdiction of the juvenile court, a person shall not be considered a child if, at the time the alleged offense or violation was committed, the person was considered an adult according to then-existing law.
