1. Any person who violates any provision of sections 196.520 to 196.610 shall, upon conviction, be guilty of an infraction. 2. Any person who knowingly violates any provision of sections 196.520 to 196.610 shall, upon conviction, be guilty of a class A misdemeanor. 3. Nothing in sections 196.520 to 196.610 shall be so construed as to prohibit any dairy farmer who holds a valid permit at the inception of sections 196.520 to 196.610 to produce and sell manufactured grade milk.
