Subject to appropriation, the department of higher education and workforce development shall make available a nonrenewable "Advanced Placement Incentive Grant" of five hundred dollars to any student who receives an award under the access Missouri financial assistance program established in sections 173.1101 to 173.1107 , or the A+ schools program established under section 160.545 , and in addition has received two grades of three or higher on advanced placement examinations in the fields of mathematics or science while attending a Missouri public high school.
