Before operating a fully autonomous vehicle on public roads in this state without a human driver, a person shall file proof of financial responsibility satisfactory to the Department of Public Safety that the fully autonomous vehicle is covered by insurance or proof of self-insurance that satisfies the requirements of Section 63-15-37 , 63-15-39 , 63-15-41 , 63-15-43 , 63-15-49 , 63-15-51 or 63-15-53 .
