Regulations and best management practices

(1) Any regulations or best management practices adopted by the board under this chapter, shall be no more stringent or extensive in scope, coverage or effect than the regulations and best management practices promulgated or recommended by the United States Environmental Protection Agency. (2) If federal regulations or recommended best management practices do not address any matter relating to a storm water management system, the board may adopt or promulgate appropriate regulations or best management practices to address those matters. Laws, 2000, ch. 597, § 14, eff. 8/21/2000 (the date the United States Attorney General interposed no objection under Section 5 of the Voting Rights Act of 1965).
