Mississippi Code § 49-8-3

For purposes of this chapter: (a) "Commission" means the Commission on Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks. (b) "Department" means the Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks. (c) "Wild animal" means any wild animal classified as inherently dangerous to humans as provided in Section 49-8-5 . Laws, 1997, ch. 571, § 2, eff. 4/23/1997.
