Penalty for violating provisions of chapter

It is a misdemeanor for any person to violate any of the provisions of this chapter unless such violation is declared by such law or other law of this state to be a felony. Unless another penalty is provided in this chapter or by the laws of this state, every person convicted of a misdemeanor for the violation of any provision of this chapter shall be punished by fine of not more than Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) or by imprisonment for not more than six (6) months, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
