Exemption of records

(1) Unless specifically authorized by law, records maintained by the center shall be exempt from the provisions of the Mississippi Public Records Act of 1983. (2) Intelligence and investigative files maintained by law enforcement shall be kept separate from criminal history record information and shall be exempt from dissemination under the provisions of this chapter and the Mississippi Public Records Law.
