Assistance of county sheriff in confining and transporting defendant

The chancellor may order assistance by the sheriff of the county, or any other county in confining and transporting the defendant to the facility, at the expense of the committing county. Laws, 1983, ch. 456, § 6, eff. 7/1/1983. Amended by Laws, 2019, ch. 468, SB 2328,§ 20, eff. 7/1/2019.
