Legislative purpose; construction of chapter

The purpose of this chapter is to provide a method to enable counties and municipalities to acquire public buildings, facilities and equipment through the use of rental contracts. This chapter shall be construed in conformity with such intention and shall be an alternative to those methods which may be otherwise provided by law. Laws, 1990, ch. 564, § 1, eff. 7/1/1990.
