There is established an administrative board for the Mississippi Highway Safety Patrol Retirement System, which shall be composed of the Commissioner of Public Safety, four (4) active members of the retirement system elected by the active members of the system, and one (1) retired member of the retirement system elected by the retired members of the system. The administrative board, with approval of the Attorney General, may make any and all regulations necessary for the efficient, orderly and successful operation of this chapter, not inconsistent herewith.
