No person may ski on a cross-country-ski trail without a valid cross-country-ski pass. Any person who violates this subdivision is guilty of a petty misdemeanor. [See Note.] A person who knowingly makes a false statement related to an application for a cross-country-ski pass is guilty of a petty misdemeanor.
