The attorney general has the responsibilities and duties prescribed by this section. The attorney general shall: (1) enforce the provisions of law relating to consumer fraud and unlawful practices in connection therewith as set forth in sections 325F.68 and 325F.69 ; (2) enforce the provisions of law set forth in sections 80D.19 and 80D.20 and Laws 1984, chapter 641, section 9; and (3) make recommendations to the governor and the legislature for statutory needs that exist in adequately protecting the consumer.
