The following sections set forth minimum standards for three categories of health insurance reserves: (1) section 60A.763 , claim reserves; (2) section 60A.764 , premium reserves; and (3) section 60A.765 , contract reserves. Adequacy of an insurer's health insurance reserves is to be determined on the basis of all three categories combined. However, sections 60A.76 to 60A.768 emphasize the importance of determining appropriate reserves for each of the three categories separately.
