Minnesota Code § 559.213

PRIMA FACIE EVIDENCE OF TERMINATION.

The recording, heretofore or hereafter, of the copy of notice of default, proof of service thereof, and the affidavit showing that the purchaser has not complied with the terms of the notice, provided for by section 559.21 , shall be prima facie evidence that the contract referred to in such notice has been terminated. It shall not be necessary to pay current or delinquent real estate taxes owed on the real property which is the subject of the contract to record the documents required by this section, provided that the documents must be first presented to the county auditor for entry upon the transfer record and must have "Transfer Entered" noted in them over the county auditor's official signature.
