For the purposes provided in sections 473.601 to 473.679 the Metropolitan Airports Commission has been created as a public corporation. Except as provided otherwise in Laws 1974, chapter 455, the existence and the powers, responsibilities, rights, and obligations of this corporation are confirmed and extended in accordance with the provisions of those sections, as they now exist and as they are now and may hereafter be amended and supplemented. The commission shall be organized, structured and administered as provided in sections 473.601 to 473.679 .
