The county recorder may select and use alternative methods for the compilation, maintenance, and storage of the information contained in the official records listed in sections 386.03 , 386.04 , 386.05 , 386.19 , and 386.32 , subject to the following conditions: (1) the methods selected must provide for access to the information contained in the records by those authorized by law to have access to that information; and (2) the methods selected must provide for the preservation of the information contained in the records to the extent specified by law.
