For the purposes of sections 35.73 to 35.80 the terms defined in this section have the meanings given. [Repealed, 1980 c 467 s 44 ] [Repealed, 1996 c 310 s 1 ; 1997 c 7 art 1 s 171 ] "Garbage" means animal or vegetable refuse, including all waste material, by-products of a kitchen, restaurant, or slaughter house, and refuse accumulation of animal, fruit, or vegetable matter, liquid or solid, but does not mean vegetable waste or by-products resulting from the manufacture or processing of canned or frozen vegetables or materials exempted under section 35.751 .
