The fees in this section are nonrefundable. The amount of fees must be set by the board so that the total fees collected by the board equals as closely as possible the anticipated expenditures during the fiscal biennium, as provided in section 16A.1285 . Fees must not exceed the following amounts but may be adjusted lower by board action: (1) application for licensure fee, $1,000; (2) renewal licensure fee, $1,000; (3) late renewal fee, $250; (4) temporary permit fee, $250; (5) duplicate license fee or duplicate renewal certificate fee, $25; (6) reinstatement fee, $1,250; (7) examination administration fee for persons who have not applied for a license or permit, $50; (8) verification of licensure fee, $50; (9) label fee, $50; (10) list of licensees fee, $50; and (11) copies fee, $0.50 per page. Information about fees in effect at any time must be available from the board office. The license fees collected under this section must be deposited in the state government special revenue fund.
