The director may accept grants or gifts of money, property, or services from a person, a public or private entity, or any other source for an emergency medical health purpose within the scope of its statutory authority. The director may enter into contractual agreements with a person or public or private entity for the provision of statutorily prescribed emergency medical services-related activities by the director. The contract shall specify the services to be provided and the amount and method of reimbursement for the contracted services. Funds generated in a contractual agreement made pursuant to this section are appropriated to the director for purposes of providing the services specified in the contracts.
