Minnesota Code § 144.4186

DATA PRIVACY.

Data contained in a health directive are classified as protected nonpublic data under section 13.02, subdivision 13 , in the case of data not on individuals, and private under section 13.02, subdivision 12 , in the case of data on individuals. Investigative data shall have the classification accorded it under section 13.39 .
Once an action is commenced, any party may seek a protective order to protect the disclosure of portions of the court record identifying individuals or entities.
A records retention schedule for records developed under sections 144.4171 to 144.4186 shall be established pursuant to section 138.17, subdivision 7 .
