The president may appoint a local advisory committee for each campus. Committee members must be qualified people who have knowledge of and interest in the campus. The board shall define the role and authority of the advisory committees and establish procedures for the appointment, terms, and termination of members. The president or an appointee of the president shall regularly meet and consult with the local advisory committee. Advisory committee members shall serve without compensation and without reimbursement for expenses.
