Minnesota Code § 116J.85

FEDERAL AND LOCAL GOVERNMENT PARTICIPATION.

Federal and local government license agencies shall be encouraged to participate in the business license information, coordination, and assistance services of the bureau and to make information available to applicants through the bureau with respect to any business undertaking, project, or activity which is referred to the bureau under the provisions of sections 116J.73 to 116J.86 .
The bureau shall, so far as is practicable, advise applicants of federal and local agency license requirements and shall maintain an information file on licenses for which the state has delegated issuance authority to local government agencies.
The director shall consult with local government officials with respect to cooperation in coordinating state and local license application and review procedures and shall recommend to the governor and the legislature any actions which would facilitate this coordination.
