(a) The appraisers shall prepare an appraisers' report of the benefits and damages determined and file the report with the managers. (b) After the appraisers' report is filed, the managers shall examine the report and determine whether: (1) the report was made in conformity with the requirements of this chapter; and (2) for each property to be assessed, the benefits are greater than the costs to be assessed. (c) If the managers determine the appraisers' report is inadequate in any manner, the managers may return the report to the appraisers for further study and report.
